FALL 2025 UPDATE:

SHIPPING TO CANADA AND WORLDWIDE STILL AVAILABLE
Canada Post has just gone on strike again on September 25, 2025. We are using ChitChats for all orders and we can continue to ship within Canada and worldwide except to P.O. boxes. If your address is a P.O. box, please use a friend's or family address for now. 

Regular lettermail within Canada is disabled due to the strike. All orders within Canada will be shipped with full tracking and cost a flat rate. Lettermail for other countries is still available. 

During checkout the available shipping options might display as "Canada Post", but we are just using it to calculate live shipping rates. All shipping will be done through ChitChats. 

U.S. Shipping is resumed!
There will be both tariffed and tariff-free items available in our store. Items that are tariffed will have their tariff fees applied at checkout under "Duties". You will be paying any applicable fees in advance which will be remitted to U.S. customs, and you will not have to pay any further fees upon the arrival of your package!

You can mix both tariffed and tariff-free items in the same cart.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

FALL 2025 PROCESSING TIMES:
Most orders currently take 5-8 business days to be fulfilled!
Orders with t-shirts could potentially take a little longer as some designs are made to order. We are currently transitioning to printing all of our shirts ourselves! 

Individual delivery times differ based on location and type of shipping service selected at checkout. 

Delivery time estimates are currently as follows: 

Canada: 
Regular lettermail: 2-14 business days
Tracked shipping: 2-8 business days
(Regular lettermail is currently disabled within Canada due to the Canada Post Strike as of September 25, 2025)

USA: 
Regular lettermail: 7-14 business days
Tracked shipping: 7-21 business days
(USA bound shipments with tracked shipping are currently taking longer than usual due to the recent implementation of new tariff fees and increased time to go through customs, your patience is greatly appreciated.)

International:
Regular lettermail: 7-27 business days
Tracked shipping: 7-21 business days

These are just estimates and delays can occasionally occur especially during the busy seasons. 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number (if selected) once it has been shipped. It can sometimes take awhile for your tracking number to update and get moving so please be patient!

For Canada & everywhere else (orders with only stickers, patches, and/or prints), and for USA (orders with stickers only): There is the option to select regular lettermail for delivery if the total cart is under a certain weight. This is a more affordable option but it does not come with tracking. We cannot guarantee delivery & delivery times for these packages without tracking. If you would like to ensure and track your delivery, please select the tracked option at checkout instead.

 

My order did not arrive within the estimated timeframe and seems lost, what do I do?

If you notice that your package hasn't moved in days and seems stuck, please contact your local post office with your tracking information to see if they can provide any updates. 

If nothing prevails, please contact us and we'll see if we can help! Lost packages are dealt with by a case by case basis.

We would like to emphasize that we are not responsible or in control of the postal services and delays or lost packages can happen sometimes. We ask for your patience as we try our best to help.

Once a package is marked as delivered we cannot replace a lost package as there is no way to verify it is lost. If your order was already shipped to a wrong address that was given, you will have to place a new order with the new address.

The items I ordered were broken or damaged in post, what do I do?

Please contact us as soon as possible and we will see what we can do! Email us with your order number at hello@grrrlspells.com.


How will my order be packaged? 

As a queer & trans brand we prioritize discreet packaging for the safety of our customers. Your package will not have anything else on it other than the shipping label and a potentially small thank you doodle (depending on the envelope type). Mailers are also in neutral black, grey, or kraft orange/brown colours. The shipping label will say FROM: GRRRL Spells on it as it is mandatory, but if this might pose a problem for you please let us know and we will find an alternative.

Certain lettermail might be shipped with our return address sticker on the back which also includes our brand name and logo but it's super small. Please add a note in your order if you do not want this and we will black it out! 

**NOTE: U.S. CUSTOMERS
Unfortunately due to the new tariff laws, every package being shipped to the U.S. with tracked shipping now requires a commercial invoice attached to the package itself. This will contain certain details about the items and their value, but they will not be specific. For example if you ordered a pin, it will just say "Pin" on the package instead of "Queer Magic Pin". 

 

How should I wash my t-shirts?

For maximum longevity and proper care of printed garments, please carefully follow these wash care instructions: 

  • Turn garment inside out
  • Machine wash on short/delicate cycle with cold water
  • Tumble dry on low heat or hang for best care
  • No bleach or fabric softener
  • Iron on low heat and do not iron over design (turn inside out) 

For our new DTF print t-shirts, they require a bit more care compared to screenprinted t-shirts. Please follow the same instructions above as well as additional steps below for better care: 

  • Do not overcrowd your washer and dryer. For maximum protection, wash similar items together and avoid washing with heavy items such as jeans and towels to prevent excessive friction and creasing. 
  • Promptly remove items after completed wash and dry cycles. Letting them sit can create wrinkles on the print. 
  • Store your garments flat or hung up if possible to prevent creases. 

After the first wash, the print will slightly take on the texture of the t-shirt itself. This is normal. If your garment is wrinkled, you can fix it by ironing your garment. Place it on a flat surface, turn it inside out, and iron the back of the design
